1 lb. beef stew meat, cut into 1\" pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbs. flour
Olive oil
1 onion, peeled and roughly chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 - 14 oz. cans of beef stock
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. dried italian herb seasoning
1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
3 medium potatoes, red, white or yukon, peeled or not, cut into 1\" pieces (enough to make three cups)
\"baby\" carrots, cut into uniform pieces - about 3/4\" (enough to make one cup)
