Bouquet garni (parsley, thyme, and a couple bay leaves tied in cheese cloth or with kitchen twine)
2 cups frozen pearl onions
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. small button mushrooms, halved
1/2 cup cognac or brandy
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper
