With a closet full of drugstore beauty items you better believe I love a good deal – even saving a couple dollars can make a difference. While these types of products tend to last, who wants to head to the local drug store at the last minute and spend full-price on mascara? If I know I am running low on a particular item I’ll keep my eye on coupons and sales in drug store circulars in my Sunday. Here are the top 5 items I would never buy without a coupon.
While I don't need these often, I always pick a few up when there is a buy one get one 50% off to experiment with colors. Plus if you have coupons it's even more of a savings.
I really only use one brand but when I started to notice new and improved technology — thicker lashes promised, collagen, longer length — I have to try. With a couple dollars off it's a no brainer!
Let's face it — sometimes these can be pricy. Really – upwards of $9.00 for a body wash? Wait until they go on sale, add a coupon and – my favorite – the store savings coupon too and it can bring the cost down to a couple dollars!
I love how they put their new lines up front so your eye is drawn to it. I am always a sucker for it — Ooh what is this new nail polish? New, must-have make-up remover wipes? A new shine serum? Just be sure to WAIT a few weeks to buy new items. It will still be there (it's brand new) and eventually it will go on sale and pretty soon down the road there will be a coupon for it. It always pays to be patient with the latest beauty products!
