It's Calendar Time!

By Megan Capone     Friday, Jan 4, 2013

It's that time of the year - for a new year and a new calendar (or in my case, calendars)! I love calendar time - opening up a fresh new blank calendar and imagining the possibilities for the new year. Now's the time to organize my schedule and routine once and for all. And I'm definitely not a single-calendar kind of gal.

The Desk Calendar

For the office, I've tried and tried to use an online calendar and it just never fits what I need it to do. So I have a desk calendar. I looked far and wide for the perfect calendar last year and I hit gold with this Quo Vadis "Note 27" beauty. I chose the red Soho color, but there a ton of other cover colors and types of material. If the Note 27 doesn't suit your needs, head over to Amazon.com, they have a ton of Quo Vadis Products.

The Wall Calendar

For the past two years I've used this Simple Life calendar. It's a great size for the office - not too big and not to small at 15-1/2 x 7-3/4 inches. Each month has a gorgeous, cheerful illustrations that helps me focus on the simple things in life.

The Page-a-Day Calendar

I like to walk into work each day with a surprise waiting for me - even if it's only tearing off the page of my page-a-day calendar. I've done page-a-days for years. Last year I had a I Can Has Cheezburger LOLcat Kalendar and it was a huge hit at work. As was the Cute Overload Calendar (but I wouldn't necessarily categorize reptiles and mice as cute. And I tried the The Original Sudoku Calendar - but got bored with it pretty quickly.

What am I going for this year? I think I'll try out 1,000 Places To See Before You Die Calendar. I'm always looking for future vacation destinations (and wallpaper for my cube.)
